Global Talent Immigration Performance is a three-year durational work that begins when my UK Global Talent visa comes into effect on 12 November 2025 and ends when it expires on 12 November 2028.
The performance will unfold online, tracing the daily realities of life and work in the United Kingdom under a visa designed for artists officially recognised as “Global Talent.” Over this period, I will share fragments of this lived process: official documents, correspondence, notes, photographs, works in progress, and moments of absurdity that emerge within institutional systems. Together, these fragments will form an ongoing record of my negotiation for the right to live and work as an artist within a framework that selectively defines who may be called “global” and what counts as “talent.”
