image break consists of prints made using newsprint paper originally intended to protect the printing surface. These sheets picked up leftover ink, pressure marks, and traces of the metal plate during the process, creating unplanned images that reflect the residue of making.

Shaped by repetition and chance, the works carry marks that are neither fully intentional nor entirely accidental. By presenting them as finished pieces, Betül Aksu shifts focus to the overlooked moments of printmaking and questions where an artwork begins and ends.
