Acrylic on pide box
25,5 x 18,5 x 5 cm

Nefaitün is a satirical response to the hype around NFTs and the commodification of digital culture. Painted on a discarded pide delivery box, the work mimics the rushed, careless graphic style often seen in commercial packaging. It reflects the instinct to quickly produce and participate, to jump on what feels current without pausing to question its purpose or consequence.

By using an object meant to be thrown away, the piece critiques the superficial appeal of technological trends, especially the promises of ownership and profit attached to NFTs. It challenges viewers to consider who truly benefits from these systems, and why the conversation often avoids deeper ethical or artistic concerns. Nefaitün resists the urge to glamorize innovation and instead turns attention to intention, context, and critical reflection.
